Westchester County Police provide primary police service and protection to Westchester’s vast and beautiful parks system. In summer, Patrol officers are supplemented by Seasonal Park Rangers, who are peace officers deployed to help maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere at the County’s parks, pools, beaches, golf courses, nature centers and other facilities, including the Westchester County Center.
Any park patron with a safety or security concern is encouraged to bring it to the attention of a police officer, park ranger or parks employee so the issue can be addressed. In the event of an emergency, call 911.
